PROGRESS 21: Global will bring together our business and leadership community, to unite behind global campaigns supporting recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, and Realising Greater Manchester’s Global Ambitions. The event will discuss plans to progress sustainable and inclusive economic recovery, attracting business and capital investment, as well as reigniting the visitor economy. It will feature GM Mayor, Andy Burnham, GM LEP Chair, Lou Cordwell, and Minister for Exports Graham Stuart.
The Global theme will also be explored through a morning session reviewing the ‘Future of Work: The Changing World of Work post-pandemic and its lasting legacy’ with keynote contributions from the new Economics Foundation, CIPD, RSA Future Work Centre and TalkTalk, facilitated by Professor Greg Clark CBE FAcSS, Chair of Connected Places Catapult, Global Head of Future Cities & New Industries at HSBC Group, Global Fellow at the Brookings Institution, and Founder of the Business of Cities.
